Some Work Plans for Group in 2009
1. Upgrading of Village Lighting in Cross has been completed on October last.

2. Grave of the Yellow Men - has been marked with stone work and a plaque will be put in place soon at Kilclogher Bridge. See photo gallery for to see a photo of work so far.

3. Improvement of the Area opposite Kilballyowen Graveyard

4. Getting Council to carry out work on bad bends in the area and to get them to chip/tar outside wall done by workers in Kilbaha.

5. The constant maintenance of the three graveyards in the parish and the two churches and the G.A.A. field and clubhouse.

6. Halla Eoin in Kilbaha is now getting a facelift with some repairs been carried out as well by RSS workers

Role of Development Company.
This is to update you about Kilballyowen Development Ltd. This is our local Development Group.
It consists of a group of people who aim to improve and market the Loophead Peninsula West Clare.
At the moment they have three Fás workers and three R.S.S. workers to try and keep the work done in the area. Their work consists of keeping graveyards maintained in good condition, upkeep of schools, halls, football grounds.
